Slides & Negative Scanning

Slides and negatives often contain images that were never printed, making them some of the most valuable items in a family collection.

We scan 35mm slides, photo negatives and selected larger film formats using Epson flatbed scanners designed for transparent media. Because film is much smaller than a printed photo, higher-resolution scanning is used to help capture detail and produce clear digital files.

Before scanning, we gently remove loose dust where possible, then use professional software such as SilverFast to assist with dust and scratch reduction, correct orientation, colour adjustment and sharpness optimisation.
