Podiatry is covered by the majority of health funds. Our HICAPS facilities allow health fund rebates to be claimed on the spot.
Medicare
Medicare has instituted Enhanced Primary Care Plans for those people deemed by their General Practitioner to have chronic or complex conditions that affect the feet, or their ability to care for their feet. EPC plans provide up to 5 podiatry consults each year. These patients are bulk-billed at no cost to the patient.
Department of Veterans’ Affairs
Our podiatrists are registered to provide services for veterans, including treatment, biomechanical assessment, prescription orthotics and footwear referrals.
